Universal

I discovered this wonderful antiquity in Broadstairs. The typeface is Sirona, and the sign itself is painted by Russell Thomas, fairground sign-painter extraordinaire.

Lovely. Is the line from a pet shop boys song, or does it predate that?

It is a little known fact that Neil Tennant picked up the line from a Kent fisherwoman's ballad...

I've been to both these places... but not in one trip... a lovely find! p.s how does one "follow" your blog? I will bookmark it...

That is lovely! Can't say Broadstairs is though. (I'm from a few miles away, little village called Upstreet.)
